Mandala & Restorative Yoga Workshop

Mandala Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing style of yoga that moves in a circle, or a ‘mandala’ - a circlular symbol of unity, wholeness, or the universe. Dulce Mandala, one of Sue’s and Wen’s yoga teachers, developed this yoga style to integrate the natural elements of earth, water, fire, and air, and her interest in shamanism into yoga. Wen will take you through a flow for each of these elements, moving with breath and intention, for a dynamic and satisfying practice.

Sue will then ease us into a restorative practice with the use of blocks and bolsters. The purpose of restorative yoga is to encourage mindful breathing which might lead to meditation, to relieve muscle pain and tension, and to reduce stress and anxiety and prepare you for sleep.

Schedule:

10-11am Mandala Yoga with Wen

11-11:30am Break/ Q+A

11:30am- 12:30pm Restorative Yoga with Sue
