Yoga Day Retreat at Llangoed Hall
I'm thrilled to be running a day yoga retreat in this stunning and calming setting; Llangoed Hall.
Rich in history, formerly known as Llangoed Castle, the hall is set in 17 acres of garden and parkland in the valley of the River Wye. According to the late Sir Clough William Ellis, the celebrated Welsh Architect, there appears to have been a house on this site since 500 AD. It is said that the First Welsh Parliament was also held here. In 1987, Sir Bernard Ashley, founder of Elanbach and Laura Ashley, bought the property and restored the hall to its former glory.We will be doing yoga in the Orangery; a spacious elegant light filled room with floor to ceiling windows, with a peaceful view of the main garden.
I'll also be teaming up with their award winning in house chefs to come up with a delicious menu where ingredients used will be freshly picked from their on site kitchen garden, and locally sourced produce.
Tentative schedule:
9:45am - herbal tea on arrival
10am - vinyasa yoga flow
11am - tea break- herbal tea and sweet treats
12pm- gentle yoga
1:15pm - lunch
2:15pm - explore the grounds, relax by the fire place
3:15pm - ends

Winter Pregnancy, Birth & Yoga Online Course

We’re running a 4 week pregnancy, birth & yoga online course via Zoom.
Suits 2nd and 3rd trimester parents to be (& partners!)
Week 1: Your pregnancy journey
Week 2: Bonding with your baby, creating space for birth
Week 3: Birth physiology empowerment and self-knowledge
Week 4: The golden month- postnatal healing
Rachel will start each session with informative and practical contents on the physiology of pregnancy and birth in a holistic approach followed by Q&A.
I will guide us through a yoga and mindfulness practice which follows the theme of each session. Partners are welcome to join you on the mat!
We will then end the session with a hypnobirth relaxation.
